Job Title: Lead Manufacturing Technician I

Location: 4201 Pottsville Pike, Bldg 5, Reading, PA 19605-1219
Type: Contractor (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $27.50/hr (Hourly, Non-exempt)
Shift: 1st Shift (Tuesday to Saturday, 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM)
Standard Hours: 40 per week

Job Description

In this role, you will support our production operations, equipment maintenance, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This is a temp-to-perm position with potential for future hire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Contribute to the maintenance of parts and supply inventory.
  • Technical Systems: Utilize basic Infor EAM functions to track maintenance and inventory.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary technical documentation accurately and timely.
  • Compliance: Follow Total Quality Management (TQM) and OSHA operating standards.
  • Technical Training: Attend appropriate technical training classes as assigned.
  • Troubleshooting: Promptly respond to equipment failures and escalate serious issues to Senior or Lead Technician.
  • Continuous Learning: Study and review relevant vendor technical manuals and publications.
  • Equipment Handling: Participate in equipment moves or upgrades as needed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Attendance: Maintain regular scheduled attendance.

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite; position does not allow for remote work
  • Experience preferred in technical, manufacturing, or production environments
  • Willingness to learn and attend technical training
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
