On-Call Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and caregivers, including but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, and supervision of caregivers after normal business hours. Strong communication skills are necessary to be successful in ensuring clients are covered after normal business hours.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all calls promptly and professionally represent JEVS Care at Home to all callers.
- Knowledgeably and successfully handle incoming service inquiries.
- Coordinate and communicate any/all staffing changes that occur due to client request, callouts, or other reasons. Replace staff as requested.
- Document all service inquires and forward information to office team for follow-up utilizing appropriate tools, reports and official forms.
- Manage client and caregiver emergencies timely and effectively. Document accordingly for any necessary follow-up.
- Communicate any client changes promptly to family, referral source, payer source coordinator and office staff.
- Accurately report all calls to the office staff daily, through detailed and specific documentation on the on-call log. On-call reports to be saved to a shared folder for reference, as needed.
- Troubleshoot EVV concerns with caregivers as needed.
- Complete and forward Incident Reports (IR) timely.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Home Care, with The Office of Long-Term Living, elderly, and/or disabled population helpful.
- Experience with case management/coordination, records/utilization management, preparing reports, or other documentation desirable.
- Bi-lingual preferred..
- Strong Organizational, Time Management and problem-solving skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of HHAeXchange.
