PRST Solar is seeking experienced Electricians to support the final electrical phase of a large-scale commercial rooftop solar installation at an IKEA facility. This is a flat-roof commercial solar project with an immediate need for qualified electricians who can work safely, efficiently, and independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Per Diem: $100/day
Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and execute work according to construction drawings, electrical plans, and project specifications.
  • Install, assemble, and verify equipment layouts in accordance with manufacturer requirements and installation standards.
  • Install and terminate AC electrical systems, communication conduit systems, and associated circuitry.
  • Measure, bend, anchor, and secure conduit up to 4 inches while maintaining code compliance and project specifications.
  • Install DC wiring, grounding systems, and related solar electrical components throughout the project.
  • Perform work safely and efficiently on rooftops, ladders, scissor lifts, and other elevated work platforms.
  • Lift, carry, and move materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the workday


Project Duration: 4–5 Weeks
Start Time: 6:00 AM Daily

  • Commercial/Solar electrical experience with understanding of DC and grounding systems installation within solar projects
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute construction plans
  • Proficient in bending, anchoring, and securing conduit up to 4 inches
  • Ability to safely work from rooftops, ladders, and various lifts
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a routine and recurring basis throughout the workday
