Temp-Con is seeking Service Technicians in the commercial HVAC and refrigeration industries. The HVAC Service Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment, including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake, and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, makeup air, VAV, and VRF systems. Experience with any commercial kitchen equipment is a plus!
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Active EPA Certification
- Valid Driver's License & clean driving record
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- A 'self-starter' attitude and the ability to accomplish tasks promptly.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely climb and balance on a ladder and work in elevated/high locations.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection forms.
- Maintain proper vehicle stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.
