Jumping Jack Dog Ranch is growing and we are looking for one full-time dog caretaker to join our 35+ person strong team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, physically active and loves dogs and people. We have an amazing team we have been building since we opened in 2017, and we have a no-drama policy. All employees are cross-trained in bathing, kennel and office within their first year of employment.
Holidays and weekends are required. We are specifically looking for someone who has a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Feeding, medicating and bathing/drying dogs
- Walking dogs to/from play-yards and photographing them with our iPhones
- Cleaning dog suites, disinfecting yards
- Hiking dogs on nature trails
- Attention to detail to dogs behavioral and emotional needs
- Monitoring dogs around the swimming pool (must be able to swim)
- Able to work in any and all weather
- Able to lift 50+ pounds frequently
Qualifications
- Experience working with dogs preferred
- Ability to work weekends and holidays required
- Consistently supervise animals during various activities
- Must be flexible with their schedule- able to flex hours up and down as needed
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be on-time and reliable
