Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic K-12 educational setting in Washington, DC, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students from PreK through 8th grade throughout the full school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work in a charter school environment dedicated to fostering student communication development and success.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Active DC Speech Therapy license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- DC Educator Certification
- Proven experience working within school settings, ideally with a PreK-8 caseload
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans
Location: Washington, DC charter school serving students from PreK to 8th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across PreK-8 grades
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in meetings related to student goals and services
