Job Description:

As the Media Post-Production Manager, you will serve as the central expert for all post-production needs across a diverse range of client projects, encompassing video, content, and photo. You are a detail-oriented and technically proficient individual who deeply understands the intricacies of transforming raw assets from pre-production through to final delivery. You excel at ensuring the creative vision is realized flawlessly and efficiently across all media types. You will be crucial in streamlining our post-production workflows, upholding the highest quality standards, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and vendor partners, ultimately amplifying our agency's ability to deliver exceptional and polished media.



Functions:

  • Comprehensive Post-Production Oversight & Workflow Management: Manage post-production projects for video (editing, VFX, color grading), content (social media, motion, footage banks) and photo (retouching, color correction, compositing), ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Cross-Media Workflow Development: Develop and implement efficient post-production workflows and processes applicable to video editing, content refinement, photo retouching, VFX, and other relevant areas.
  • Coordination of Post-Production Activities: Oversee and coordinate all post-production activities across different media types, including video, visual content, and photography.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures for all post-production deliverables, regardless of media (video, content, photo).
  • Creative Collaboration & Client Support Across Media: Collaborate with Associate Creative Directors (ACD), other creative managers (AM), and account managers to understand client needs for all post-produced assets, including video, content, and photo.
  • Integrated Communication: Communicate effectively with ACDs and AMs on post-production timelines and progress for all media, acting as the primary internal point of contact for video, content, and photo projects.
  • Budget and Timeline Assistance: Assist in developing budgets and timelines for post-production components of campaigns across all media types.
  • Team Leadership & Diverse Resource Management: Lead, manage, and mentor internal post-production team members with diverse skill sets in video editing, content post-production, motion, ai integrations, and photo retouching, fostering a positive and innovative environment.
  • Broad Resource Allocation: Assist in the allocation of post-production resources and equipment relevant to video, content (design software, layout tools), and photo (retouching software, calibration tools).
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage a list of external partner resources, including video editors, retouchers, VFX artists, writers, and graphic designers, maintaining excellent relationships.
  • Upholding Agency-Wide Quality Standards: Execute on industry and agency standards for creative deliverables across all media as set by the Creative Director.
  • Pre-Delivery Review: Conduct reviews of the teams work across all media (video, motion, content, photo) before it leaves the department for review by CD/ACD, or client.
  • Industry Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing, content post-production (including SEO considerations where relevant), photo retouching, VFX, and related fields.
  • Championing Client Service Excellence: Be a champion of client service excellence for all post-production services related to video, content, and photo.



Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in video production, including team management. Agency experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or equivalent experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Expert proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Suite and Final Cut Pro) and related post-production tools.
  • Strong understanding of all stages of video production, from pre-production to delivery.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budget and timeline management.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.
  • A keen eye for detail, technical accuracy, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction/grading is highly preferred.
