Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and excited about working with cutting-edge aerospace materials? Join our team as a Layup Technician and help build advanced composite aircraft components that take flight!
Pay: $21/hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Opportunity for overtime after 2 PM and weekends
Location:
- Enfield, CT 06082
What You’ll Do:
- Perform hand layup of advanced composite materials like carbon fiber and fiberglass
- Carefully layer and smooth materials to ensure a flawless finish (no wrinkles, air pockets, or voids!)
- Prepare molds and apply vacuum bagging for autoclave or oven curing
- Use a laser projection system to guide precise and accurate layup
- Maintain strict clean room standards and protocols
- Track work, follow detailed instructions, and communicate with engineering & leadership teams
- Stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet production timelines
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of hands-on or related experience (manufacturing, composites, aerospace, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Team player with great communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a high-performance environment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
