Registered Nurses with Emergency Room experience are needed to provide critical care in an urgent care setting. This contract position supports the delivery of high-quality nursing services tailored to the unique needs of emergency patients.
Location: Urbana, IL
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans in alignment with clinical standards.
- Implement nursing interventions and procedures specific to emergency care; modify plans of care based on ongoing patient evaluations.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of nursing care to ensure seamless information flow among healthcare team members.
- Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and mitigating safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to support optimal care and a healing environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to peers for professional growth and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development by addressing individual learning needs.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with Emergency Room (ER) experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
