The Chemical Prep and Logistics Assistant supports the preparation, handling, and shipment of chemical samples while assisting with inventory and order management. This role is ideal for individuals with laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Flexible Work Hours:
Employees are required to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, but start time, end time, and lunch break are flexible to accommodate individual preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle chemical samples, including picking, packing, and shipping
- Prepare and process chemical samples as required
- Support inventory and order management activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with department guidelines
- Support various tasks related to chemical sample logistics
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; college-level Chemistry coursework required
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable and dependable team player with a strong attendance record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly
- Able to follow standard operating procedures and good laboratory practices
- Commitment to safety standards, including adherence to PPE requirements
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test, background check, and compliance documentation
