Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 6 months of current cath lab experience and active ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and Kentucky or compact state license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Every 4th weekend required and 1-2 night calls per week
  • Included in the holiday rotation
  • Expected to float within scope as needed
  • Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required
  • No onsite cafeteria; refrigerator and microwave available
  • Free parking in any unrestricted space
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Strict apparel policy; no agency or brand logos permitted on scrubs
  • Nails must be under 1/4" in length and must be natural for direct patient care
  • No nose rings or gauged earrings allowed
  • Return staff must have a 12-month gap from previous employment in any capacity
  • Travelers must take a 90-day break after one year before returning to this health system
  • Modules assigned at contract start; may require up to 12 hours to complete
  • All requested time off must be submitted upfront and kept to a minimum if possible
  • Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at a reduced rate

  • Minimum of 6 months current cath lab experience in a high-volume setting
  • Minimum 2 years of overall experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • KBMIRT (Kentucky state certification) required by start date
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Cath lab training required
  • Valid KY or compact license required for consideration
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Must provide at least two supervisor references
  • Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine or accepted exemption
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • License required if applicable
