Aurora Material Solutions is hiring a Blending Technician to help drive our production excellence. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the precise preparation of material blends and will play a direct part in delivering quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Blend Preparation & Operation:
- Assemble, load, and unload material batches using blend formulation sheets.
- Operate vertical and concrete blenders as well as a fork truck safely and accurately
Quality Control:
- Maintain strict adherence to quality guidelines and procedures to ensure high standards.
- Communicate closely with quality and customer service teams to confirm finished products meet customer expectations.
Packaging & Documentation:
- Package finished products and complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.
- Track blends, report readiness for shipment, and ensure proper labeling.
Organization & Safety:
- Keep the blending area clean and organized at all times.
- Clean blenders and other equipment as needed to maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow all plant safety guidelines and use required PPE.
Team Collaboration:
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with blend formulation sheets or similar production documentation is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Previous manufacturing or blending experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Comfortable with plant conditions including varying temperatures, loud noises, dust, and moving machinery.
