PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow proper work instruction operation.
- Read and interpret drawing components.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Check every part 100%. Measure every 10th part, clean if needed (BA 2124 and 782’s.)
- Meet daily numbers that are required.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Follow all safety rules (adhere to all required PPE) and quality standards.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Prepare product for next stage of production.
- Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- No ripped or frayed jeans allowed.
- Set up and operate hydraulic press machines to bend sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Program presses to achieve desired angles and dimensions
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving welding, machining, and assembly processes
- Assist in tooling changes and adjustments for different production runs as needed
- Proven experience operating hydraulic press machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and operation techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to work with hand tools, tooling setups, cranes, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment safely
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during setup and inspection
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 40lbs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Steel and/or stainless steel.
Ability to lift heavy items up to 40 pounds.
Basic knowledge of fabricating, reading tapes and print reading.
Basic troubleshooting.
Ability to perform basic math.
Be familiar with good/bad welds.
basic knowledge on fixing bad welds.
Know how to change weld consumables.
Know how to change weld gas.
Must have basic welding knowledge.
Must be reliable with a strong work ethic.
Good communication skills to prevent press operators from waiting on material.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Willingness to work 40+ hours a week.
Anything deemed necessary by Management Team Member only.
