Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher licensed for telehealth services is sought for a remote contract opportunity supporting students with diverse learning needs. This role requires expertise in delivering specialized instruction and therapeutic interventions through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness in a remote learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning requirements.
- Conduct telehealth sessions to provide direct instruction, consultation, and support to students with special needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance, session notes, and compliance with state regulations.
- Utilize technology effectively to engage students and adapt teaching strategies for remote learning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license for the relevant state.
- Proven experience delivering special education services via telehealth platforms.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency with remote communication tools and educational technology.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
Location: Remote (services oriented to North Andover, MA region)
