Production Technician - Grave
A Clackamas based company is seeking a motivated Production Technician to join our team.
The position requires attention to detail and the ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery. The ideal candidate should possess basic manual labor skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They should also have strong soft skills, including punctuality, a positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills.
Pay Rate: $21.00 an hour.
Shift/Hours: Grave Rotating Weekends: 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Every other weekend off.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.
- Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
- Stop or resets machines when malfunctions occur.
- Troubleshoot and report all deviations from standard parameters. Work with the team to determine root cause of the problem.
- Ensure all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Complete required production paperwork accurately.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
What we look for in a Production Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plus.
- Prior experience with production paperwork a plus.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
