Located in Leola, PA we are Dexco Racking, manufacturer of Dexco Structural Steel I-Beam Racking Systems. We are a well-established, successful, and growing metal fabrication company that has been in business since 1962. We engineer and manufacture structural steel racking systems to safely meet nearly any weight requirement. Our racks are ideal for storing industrial materials such as lumber, coils, dies, pipe tubing, bar stock, sheet metal and glass supporting loads ranging from 2,000 to 80,000 pounds. Job Description
The successful candidate will be working in our maintenance department, supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines used day-today to meet production goals, to include: troubleshooting equipment failures, routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond time to any / all emergency equipment breakdowns.
- Report problems with equipment, such as leaks or other deficiencies and act as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Assess operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing and electrical systems and determine course of action if needed.
- Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision.
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by having the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and ensure safety policy and procedures are continually observed.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications
- 12-36 months of progressive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training
- Possess the skill and ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required.
- Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gauges
- Ability to learn and understand manufacturing processes and able to inspect and repair or replace components.
- Proficient in reading and following basic blueprints, manuals, and mechanic and electrical schematics
- Experience operating test equipment and/or software
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain consistent, punctual, and regular attendance
- Complete a maintenance background test
- Maintain housekeeping standards

Standard Work Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm
$1.50 shift premium for 2nd
Mandatory shift(s) or working before/past normal shift hours may be asked as well as MANDATORY OT on occasion.
Language Skills - The work requires you to be able to follow verbal instructions as well as read and understand production documentation that details what needs to be completed on each part, the information is in English, so reading, understanding, and writing in English is a requirement in order to complete the tasks at hand.
