About the Position:
We are seeking a Project Engineer to assist a team developing premier Class A office buildings, Retail and big box warehouse projects. The candidate must be a positive, self-motivated individual with commercial construction experience. Knowledge of city permitting processes, civil scopes and experience in multi-story concrete tilt construction, heavy structural steel, interior tenant buildout and retail construction a plus. Key requisite is a proven construction management skill set and ability to take initiative and diligently manage the day-to-day project activities and administrative requirements.

The qualified applicant shall demonstrate the following:
· Ability to work harmoniously in conjunction with project staff
· Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills
· Present themselves in a professional manner
· Working knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints and specifications
· Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project & Procore
· Assist in the solicitation of subcontractor proposals
· Draft contract scopes
· Create and manage Bid-Document packages
· Review subcontractor submittals for accuracy and conformance to plans and specifications
· Create and manage project logs (RFI, Submittal, etc.) and project documentation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Review subcontractor RFI’s and submit to appropriate responder if required
· Prepare project RFI’s and submit to architect, engineer or owner for review
· Thorough follow-up and documentation tracking
· Prepare sub-contractor change orders with support staff
· Prepare and distribute project meeting minutes as needed
· Revise the project work plans / schedules and make revisions as and when need arises.
· Communicate effectively with the sub-contractors
· Ensure project documents are complete
· Review the deliverables prepared by the team before passing onto client, architect or subcontractors
· Familiarity with project budgets, divisions, cost codes and contractor pay apps
· Be innovative
