A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school in Whitehall, PA, from mid-April through June. This contract role is designed for educators skilled in special education and passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students in special education programs.
- Implement behavior assessment and management strategies using TACT-2 methods, including applying restraint when necessary.

- Maintain detailed documentation related to student progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification: N-12, N-8, or 7-12.
- Ability to be trained and effectively use TACT-2 behavior assessment techniques.
- Basic computer proficiency, especially with educational software and online systems.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a special education setting preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
