Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Responsibilities:
• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures, ensuring accuracy of information.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently while managing changes and cancellations.
• Handle front-office duties, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain patient records and documentation with attention to confidentiality and accuracy.
• Utilize basic medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare staff.
• Coordinate and verify insurance information as part of the registration process.
• Support the team with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing concerns and questions promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient experiences.• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with patient scheduling systems; experience with Epic is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of medical front-office procedures and protocols.
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
