Location:Hazleton PA
Company: Midway Staffing (on behalf of a valued client) - This is a direct hire position through the company.
Midway Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator to support daily logistics and shipping operations for one of our premier partners in the distribution industry.
Please note: All new hires will complete 4 weeks of fully paid training in Chicago. Travel, lodging, and meal expenses will be covered by the company. This hands-on training will prepare you for success in your role and provide a strong foundation for your long-term growth.
Job Duties:
- Greet and check in drivers; assign dock doors for loading
- Print, process, and organize shipping documentation
- Ensure all paperwork is properly signed and loads are closed in the system
- Coordinate with carriers on trailer numbers, seal numbers, and documentation procedures
- Enter customer orders and scan/index related paperwork
- Communicate with customer service teams regarding special documentation needs
- Follow internal safety and confidentiality procedures
- Assist with reporting and other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- 1–2 years of clerical, shipping, or logistics experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic math and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and able to learn internal systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a warehouse/office hybrid environment
Shifts Available:M-F 7am-330pmT-S 7am-330pmM-F 4pm-230am
