About Us
Merch Camel creates custom apparel and merchandise for local businesses, bands, events, teams, etc. We’re a small, hands-on team looking for a dependable person to help us turn out quality products when orders come in.
About the Role
You’ll run heat presses to apply designs to t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and other garments. No experience is needed. We’ll train you on everything, from setting up the press to quality-checking finished pieces.
This is a part-time, per-project contract position. Work is scheduled as orders come in, so hours aren’t guaranteed each week. You’ll be working as an independent contractor (1099) and will be responsible for your own taxes. It’s a great fit for someone looking for flexible, occasional work.

- Keep your workstation clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and on time once you’ve committed to a project
- Good attention to detail, since alignment matters
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working around heated equipment, following safety steps
- Able to work steadily and hit deadlines during busy order runs
- Must be 18+ years old
Schedule
- Work is on a per-project basis, depending on incoming orders
- Hours vary from project to project, and some weeks will be busier than others
- We’ll reach out when a project comes in, and you can let us know if you’re available
- Busier periods are expected around holidays, sports seasons, and local events

- Flexible work: take the projects that fit your schedule
- A hands-on, creative environment
- See the products you make out in the world
