About the Role:

In this dynamic position, you will be participating in the implementation of a new ERP system. As the first point of contact for this project, you’ll spend most of your time proactively driving efforts—literally fearlessly—as a resource for system training and knowledge sharing across the company. Once live, you’ll continue to play a key role in supporting the team and optimizing the system’s performance while managing a variety of accounting functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation Leader: Work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to oversee the full life cycle of our ERP implementation—from planning to successful completion.
Post-Go-Live Support: Act as the go-to expert on the ERP system, training and empowering colleagues across the organization.
Project & Job Cost Accounting: Manage detailed project accounting and costing functions for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
Data Analysis: Handle large volumes of data with precision to ensure financial accuracy and support decision-making.
Problem Solving: Identify and solve accounting-related challenges efficiently and effectively.

What Our Client is looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (4-year degree).
5+ years of relevant experience in project accounting or job costing, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
Experience working with large data sets and using accounting systems.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Quick learner who is fearless in embracing new challenges and tasks.
Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in debits, credits, and their impact on financial statements.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
• Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting platforms.
• Strong skills in account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to manage high volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency.
• Familiarity with job costing and project accounting processes.
