The Mission of King's Gate is to take the love of Jesus Christ to the community by partnering with families to equip the whole student for their individual calling through a rich, experiential education.

- One-page describing your Christian journey, current relationship with GOD and why you are pursuing a ministry position in Christian education.

Positions Available: We have several full-time Assistant Teacher positions in the lower elementary as well as several part-time Upper School positions (Bowling Coach, Art Teacher, Volleyball Coach, Spanish Teacher). Candidates can combine a part-time position with a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement curriculum that exceeds selected standard and skill guidelines with consideration of the students’ individual needs and developmental stage.
- Responsible for the arrangement and appearance of the learning environment.
- Conduct parent conferences and maintain timely communication with parents.
- Complete lesson plans by Friday for the following week reflecting standards covered and accommodations.
- Assist the Head of Schools in efforts to boost enrollment, in discussing the program with potential patrons.
- Maintain ACSI qualification for position, including completing required training.
- Maintain and complete assessments and maintain portfolio of work samples.
- Demonstrate professionalism and appropriateness in tone of voice, choice of words, demeanor, working with other staff, teaching techniques/methods, dress attire, appearance, reliability and attitude.
Qualifications:
-Oklahoma Teacher Certification and/or a relevant degree (child development or education).
-1 year relevant classroom experience preferred
-Affirming positive references and a clear background screening
-ACSI Teaching Certificate preferred for full-time positions.
-The person must be a Christian, affirm the *ACSI Statement of Faith, believe the Bible is the Word of GOD and demonstrate Christian character in daily life and attitude.

-When your child is old enough to enroll in preschool, the tuition is covered in the program where you work (after all tax credits and scholarship programs are applied).
School Calendar:
Full-time teachers report August 3rd.
There are 25 scheduled Holiday and School Calendar days off:
-Labor Day (First Monday in September)
-Fall Break – based on school calendar
-Thanksgiving Week (Week in November)
-Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day – (Two weeks)
-Spring Break – (One week based on school calendar)
-Good Friday (Friday before Easter)
-Easter Monday (Unless exchanged for a snow day)
-Summer Time Off – From Memorial Day through mid-August
