Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Fremont, CA. This contract position extends throughout the current school year and is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting students diverse needs in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students across grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to support students academic and functional goals within the school context.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for the state of California.
  • Experience working in school-based settings with children and adolescents.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and school system requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload, prioritize tasks, and work independently within a contract framework.

Location: Fremont, California (K-12 Public School Setting)
Duration: Contract position through the current school year (CSY)

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $55 to $65 per hour
