Shipping & Receiving Clerk | Hart, MI
Salary Range: $47,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately document and log all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and carrier requirements.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving area for efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, and other departments to ensure timely material flow.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and barcode scanners.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., up to 50 lbs).
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory.
Bonus Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Basic understanding of shipping documentation (e.g., BOL, packing slips)
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
