Job Overview
A healthcare facility in Long Beach, CA, is seeking an IR/Special Procedures Tech to join its interventional radiology team. This position is open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist with interventional radiology and special procedures</li>
<li>Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate image capture</li>
<li>Maintain sterile field and assist physicians during procedures</li>
<li>Monitor patients and provide immediate assistance as needed</li>
<li>Prepare, set up, and calibrate equipment</li>
</ul>
Requirements
Experience: 1+ year in an IR/Special Procedures setting Certifications Required:
<ul>
<li>BLS Preferred Certifications:</li>
<li>ARRT (VI or CV preferred)</li>
<li>Fluoroscopy Permit (CA)</li>
</ul>
First-time Travelers: Accepted depending on experience Floating: Not specified
Compensation &amp; Benefits
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $65.00/hour Overtime: 1.5x after 40 hours/week Holiday Pay: Applies to major U.S. holidays
