Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized support at an early childhood center serving young learners on the autism spectrum. This full-time contractual role runs from October 5, 2025, through December 19, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions tailored to early childhood developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
  • Support children primarily on the autism spectrum, fostering communication skills in a nurturing environment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist with experience in school settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with young children, especially those on the autism spectrum.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing on-site services delivering hands-on therapy.

Location & Schedule:

  • On-site work exclusively located in Lees Summit, MO.
  • Full-time position averaging 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration aligns with the school calendar year (NSY).
  • Mat leave coverage from 10/5/2025 to 12/19/2025 with potential for extension.
