Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 public school setting in Oakland, CA, serving a preschool caseload. This contract position runs from the start of the school year through the end, offering a structured environment to provide specialized pediatric speech and language services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • Experience working as a school-based SLP, particularly with pediatric and preschool populations
  • Familiarity with SLP CCC standards is preferred
  • Skilled in providing speech and language interventions and evaluations in educational settings

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)
  • Weekly Hours: 37.5, Monday through Friday (full-time)
  • Age Group: Preschool students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and progress monitoring
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
