An elementary school in Urbana, IL is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher with case management responsibilities for a 5th grade caseload. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction tailored to 5th grade students with special education needs.
- Managing and coordinating individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet compliance and student progress goals.
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student development and success.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in line with district and federal guidelines.
- Serving as the main point of contact for the 5th grade special education caseload to ensure comprehensive case management.
