Job DescriptionPosition Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our cardiology team. This role will primarily focus on performing cardiac SPECT and PET/CT imaging at two of our practice locations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in nuclear cardiology protocols, dedicated to patient safety and care, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac SPECT and PET/CT studies in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

  • Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Evaluate imaging results and ensure images are properly archived and transferred for physician interpretation.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.

  • Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

  • Perform routine quality control and calibration of imaging equipment.

  • Comply with all regulatory requirements (e.g., NRC, state radiation control board, HIPAA).

  • Travel between two office locations as scheduled.

  • Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care.
