Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our cardiology team. This role will primarily focus on performing cardiac SPECT and PET/CT imaging at two of our practice locations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in nuclear cardiology protocols, dedicated to patient safety and care, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform cardiac SPECT and PET/CT studies in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.

Evaluate imaging results and ensure images are properly archived and transferred for physician interpretation.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.

Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

Perform routine quality control and calibration of imaging equipment.

Comply with all regulatory requirements (e.g., NRC, state radiation control board, HIPAA).

Travel between two office locations as scheduled.

Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care.
