Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts (7-7, AM or PM)
  • Flexible scheduling—published 6 weeks out, block scheduling possible for nights
  • Weekend coverage every other weekend
  • Holiday shifts included in rotation

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in state of assignment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med/Tele and at least 1 year in a PCU setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proven comfort titrating and managing Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin drips
  • Competency in dysrhythmia recognition and strip interpretation (dysrhythmia exam required)
  • Ability to float between MedSurg, Tele, and PCU units
  • Flexibility to work across both campuses, adapting quickly to new environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent care for geriatric, ortho, and post-procedural cardiac patients
  • Independently titrate/drip multiple critical IV medications
  • Utilize nurse aids, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team
  • Communicate effectively and adapt quickly to unit assignments announced prior to each shift
