Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work with high school students in White Rock, NM. This contract position is for the full school year (NSY), focusing on delivering quality educational support tailored to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state and federal guidelines
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction techniques as necessary
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in special education
• Experience teaching at the high school level preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws and instructional strategies
• Effective munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage classroom behavior effectively
