Job Description

Loan Processing & Documentation

- Prepare and review loan documents using LaserPro and attorney-prepared documents, ensuring all loan stipulations on the Loan Approval and Credit Memorandum are met prior to booking and funding.

- Book loans to the core system, accurately determining proper loan system coding (e.g.., product type, collateral codes, call codes).

- Perform post-closing quality control for Consumer, Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, SBA, and Mortgage loans to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of KSB policies, procedures, and guidelines related to loan documentation and legal entities.


Loan Servicing & Maintenance

- Process daily transactions including payment reversals, accrual adjustments, and maintenance transactions.

- Accurately and timely process all advance requests for loans, including those tied to a borrowing base.

- Prepare and process internal and external partial payoff and payoff requests for Mortgage, Commercial, SBA, Commercial Real Estate, and Consumer loan portfolios.

- Accurately calculate and process required accrual adjustments for reversal transactions.

- Process escrow payments and perform escrow analysis as needed for insurance and property tax payments.

- Monitor and process incoming and outgoing participation and SBA guaranty payments.

- Set and clear collateral and financial ticklers, ensuring backup documentation is saved to the imaging system.

- Process incoming mail, including updating ticklers, scanning, and imaging documents.

- Ensure required original documents are recorded in the safekeeping log and securely placed in the vault for both Active.

- Maintain Paid Off loan files.

- Assist with monitoring ongoing construction projects

- Assist SBA Loan Servicing and Reporting.

- Assist with projects within the department as needed and cross-train in other functions to support team flexibility and knowledge

sharing.

- Review and balance loan-related general ledgers (GLs).

- Review daily reports as needed to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.


Customer Service & Communication

- Timely and accurately respond to incoming customer service requests from internal and external customers.

- Provide answers to complex loan customers regarding loan credit agreement terms.

- Communicate effectively with lenders and admins to answer complex questions relating to the Mortgage, Commercial, SBA, Commercial Real Estate, and Consumer Loan Portfolio.

- Ensure all incoming requests are handled in a timely manner and according to bank procedures, including specialized requests from the inbox per service level agreements.
