TRG Manufacturing Search Division is partnering with a leading wholesale distribution organization to identify a talented Director of Human Resources for one of its high-volume Distribution Centers. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR executive who thrives as a strategic business partner, helping operational leaders improve productivity, retention, workforce effectiveness, and overall business performance through data, workforce insights, and operational expertise.

In this role, you will serve as the senior Human Resources leader for the Distribution Center and a key member of the leadership team, partnering with executive and operational leaders to align workforce strategy with business objectives. You'll lead all Human Resources functions while helping improve workforce performance, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational results.

\n

Success in this role requires strong executive presence, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence leaders through data-driven decision making. You'll leverage workforce metrics—including turnover, labor utilization, absenteeism, overtime, engagement, and productivity—to identify opportunities and help shape the organization's people strategy.

As a member of the leadership team, you'll help shape business strategy, develop leaders, strengthen the organization, and influence decisions that drive long-term operational success. Human Resources is viewed as a true business partner, giving you the opportunity to make a measurable impact on the business.

Background:

\n

    \n
  • 10+ years of HR leadership in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other operational environments
  • \n

  • Proven business partner who uses data and workforce metrics to improve productivity, retention, and business results
  • \n

  • Experience leading workforce planning, employee relations, leadership development, and organizational change
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HRIS systems, and workforce analytics; HR certification and/or Master's degree is a plus
  • \n

  • Executive presence with the ability to influence leaders, coach managers, and build strong relationships
  • \n
