The average pay for this position varies depending on experience, but no experience is required. This position will oversee daily warehouse operations for a growing durable medical equipment provider. This role is essential to ensuring accurate inventory control, Medicare-compliant equipment handling, and timely delivery support, while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations for DME equipment including hospital beds, oxygen, mobility, respiratory, and wound care items
Oversee equipment receiving, cleaning, disinfection, staging, and deployment in compliance with Medicare and infection-control standards
Track rental versus purchased equipment, serial numbers, and maintenance schedules
Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate with delivery technicians to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries and pickups
Ensure proper documentation, tagging, and asset tracking for Medicare audits
Supervise warehouse staff including scheduling, training, and performance management
Maintain warehouse organization, safety procedures, and OSHA compliance
Collaborate with intake, billing, and management teams to support operational efficiency
Assist with equipment returns, refurbishing, and disposition.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in a DME warehouse, medical supply warehouse, or healthcare logistics environment
Strong knowledge of DME equipment and rental workflows
Experience with inventory management systems
Understanding of Medicare DMEPOS compliance standards
Proven leadership and staff management experience
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move medical equipment as required
Valid driver’s license
