Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Dunwoody, GA (occasional travel to Alpharetta location as needed)

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday
7:30/8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM

Note: The Alpharetta office is closed on Fridays. If coverage is needed, the candidate will work out of the Sandy Springs office on those days.

Pay:
$20–$22/hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support a busy clinical team. This role will work closely with the Physician and Nurse Practitioner to assist with procedures, patient care, and documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment, and experienced with EMR systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physician or Nurse Practitioner with medical procedures
• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR system
• Complete and manage surgery-related paperwork as needed
• Follow up with patients regarding care and treatment plans
• Order and manage patient medications
• Utilize and apply medical terminology relevant to the specialty

Requirements / Preferences:

• Medical Assistant diploma required
• EMR experience required (Allscripts preferred)
• Certification preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-based clinical environment
