Our four offices in PA, NJ, and DE are home to over 400 employees and serve more than 100 clients, including hospitals, physician groups, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, emergency departments, medical transport, home health, and behavioral health providers.
Job Summary
PATHS, LLC is seeking a Hospital Representative to assist patients in applying for Medical Assistance and other applicable state or federal programs. This role works directly with patients in hospital and office settings to complete eligibility applications, verify insurance coverage, and obtain required documentation while meeting productivity and compliance standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist patients with applying for Medical Assistance and other applicable hospital, state, or federal programs.
Interview patients in hospital or office settings to obtain and complete required application information.
Verify patient health insurance coverage and eligibility.
Work with patients, family members, employers, banks, and federal or state offices to obtain additional required information.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with PATHS policies and HIPAA requirements.
Meet weekly and monthly productivity goals.
Complete all required initial and ongoing PATHS training, including compliance and role-specific workflows.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an office environment required. Strong customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet productivity standards and deadlines. Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required. Ability to learn and work with multi-state Medicaid eligibility regulations (previous Medicaid experience preferred). Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Training Requirement
Must be available to train in the Allentown, PA office Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM for approximately 8–12 weeks.
