Tax Associate
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tax-related tasks, including preparation, planning, and review of tax returns for individuals and businesses. This role requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and excellent analytical skills to provide accurate and timely tax services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Conduct thorough tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Utilize tax software like Ultra Tax and SurePrep for efficient tax preparation and filing.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax filings.
- Prepare lead sheets and supporting documents for tax returns.
- Review and analyze clients' financial information to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Provide exceptional client service and support throughout the tax preparation process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals and corporations.
- Proficiency in tax software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
