Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver an excellent Practical Nursing Clinical & Classroom Instructor curriculum.
- Provide students with lectures covering all aspects of clinical nursing.
- Providing practical nursing experience by way of assigning them to patients/ clients.
- Ensure that the information is communicated in a comprehensive manner, adapting to various teaching methods and the needs of adult learners, with the goal of providing the student body with the tools to work within industry standards.
- Moderate engaging classroom discussions.
- Ensure the curriculum is up to date with current industry practices by way of participation in professional development activities.
- Plan the course materials in conjunction with colleagues and the program supervisor.
- The tracking, grading, and evaluation of student class work.
- Ensure students are prepared for certification exams.
- Oversee a thorough orientation for new students at the facility.
- Attendance of faculty meetings and providing of feedback to the program supervisor.
Qualifications:
- A Master's of Science in Nurse Education is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Candidates with an associate's degree in nursing while enrolled in a BSN program may be considered.
- 3-5 years of RN experience.
- Nursing education in a classroom/ clinical setting is preferred.
Hours & Benefits:
- Thursday - Friday 6:45 AM - 3:45 (M-W) ; 7:45 AM- 3:30 PM
