We strive to be the provider and employer choice in Southwestern Pennsylvania.Our Values are Kindness, Honesty, Respect, Teamwork, High Quality Customer Service, Good Communication and we will tackle challenging/difficult cases.We are currently looking for passionate and innovative individuals to work as a Behavior Consultant ABA (BC-ABA) to design and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis cases for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum and other mental health disorders. Services are provided primarily in the home, with some school and community-based settings.Job Responsibilities include:
- Meet with child, family, Behavior Health Technician(s), Case Manager, Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Director, MCO, school officials and other treatment team members as needed
- Conduct Functional Analyses, Functional Behavior Assessment or IISCA and other appropriate assessments such as VB-MAPP, social skills assessments, ABLLs etc.
- Develop individual treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis based on the individual needs and model the implementation of the plans based on a formal behavior assessment
- Create and monitor data collection systems and analyze at least monthly
- Maintain clinical progress notes for each consumer on caseload.
- Report consumer's progress at treatment team meetings as often as indicated using an overview of data, specific behaviors, problems and needs as indicated in the individual treatment plan.
- Monitor the implementation of individualized ABA treatment by the BHT-ABA and family.
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision of BHT-ABA and guidance of treatment plan.
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision of BHT-ABAs
- Complete and update any necessary non-clinical forms for MCOs and agency for client files
- Attend and complete mandatory trainings as directed by OHMSAS, agency and managed care providers
- Must maintain billable hours as required by the program and MCOs
- Maintain confidentiality of all clients as well as following HIPAA laws
- Complete incident reports as required and follow mandated reporter guidelines
- Must be available for evening and possible weekend hours
- Must be able to travel to client home, school or other settings to provide services.
- SUPERVISION of clinical staff
Enthusiastic applicants are needed in both Westmoreland and Allegheny counties.Hours:
Part-Time. Range 10-30 per week. Option to build to full time caseload! Hours range from 2-4 hours per week for each client. Hours will vary based upon the child's and family's needs. They will include evening and weekend hours when children are in school. Daylight hours may be available when the child is not in school. Hours offer flexibility in scheduling and can be provided when the child and family are available.Additional hours for program development and data review can be performed at your convenience in your own home.Full time opportunity available to those willing to travel further distances!
Qualifications:Candidates must be licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified nurse practitioner, or professional with scope of practice that includes overseeing ABA services AND have one:a) BCaBAb) 1-year full-time ABA experience and minimum 12 credits in ABAc) 1-year full time ABA experience under supervision of a BCBA and a minimum of 40 training hours related to ABA**Act 33 and 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint clearance required for all**Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation requiredPaula Teacher & Associates, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerHere's a little of What our Team loves about us:PTA offers flexibility with scheduling, work/life balance and is very welcoming of all individuals.The IBHS department allows clinicians to build their caseload based on professional interests and clinician availability.
