Location: 10111 Grant Rd, Houston, TX 77070
Position: Pre-K Teacher
Program: First Place Kids / Texas Rising Star 4-Star Center
We are seeking a loving, energetic, and experienced Pre-K Teacher to join our high-quality early childhood team. Our ideal candidate is creative, dependable, and passionate about preparing children for kindergarten through engaging learning and play.
Hours Available
6a-2p or 12p-6p
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Prepare children for kindergarten readiness in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe classroom
- Establish positive communication with families
- Support TRS and Licensing standards through quality classroom practices
- Collaborate with team members and participate in trainings
- Supervise children with active engagement and care
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare or Pre-K setting
- CDA, Associates in Early Childhood, or related qualifications preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Knowledge of curriculum planning and early childhood development
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students in the classroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Skills:
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for working with young children.
