As we scale, we are seeking a Director of Human Resources to build, lead, and optimize the people strategy that will power our growth.
Role Overview
The Director of HR will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for designing and executing a human capital strategy that aligns with our ambitious business objectives. This individual will create scalable HR systems, foster a performance-driven culture, and ensure that we attract, retain, and develop top legal and business talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO and leadership team to design and execute a people strategy that supports aggressive business growth.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Develop and oversee a scalable recruitment and retention framework to attract top talent across legal, title, and administrative functions.
- Culture & Engagement: Shape and maintain a high-performance, client-focused culture while enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Learning & Development: Create programs to develop leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and career growth opportunities for all employees.
- Compensation & Benefits: Implement competitive and scalable compensation structures and benefits packages to support rapid growth.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all employment laws, policies, and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Systems & Processes: Build HR infrastructure, including technology platforms, policies, and performance management systems to support scale and a smooth employee experience.
- People Operations: Manage and directly handle core HR operations, including payroll processing, new hire onboarding and paperwork, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives to support expansion into new markets, service lines, and geographies.
Qualifications
- Proven HR leadership experience in a fast-growing organization, ideally in professional services, legal, or financial sectors.
- Strong background in talent acquisition, organizational development, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to design HR strategies that support 10x growth.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance best practices.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience building HR systems and processes from the ground up.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree or HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
