Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Denver area, specifically supporting schools within Aurora Public Schools. This role focuses primarily on elementary-aged students and offers the chance to work onsite Monday through Friday, providing direct speech and language services across multiple school assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language pathology interventions to elementary-aged students.
- Manage a caseload typically ranging from 25 to 45 students, enabling impact on diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Participate in and bill for Professional Development days as allowed by the district.
- Maintain compliance with local education and licensing requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting.
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings, is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a school environment.
- Onsite availability is mandatory; virtual service delivery is not permitted.
Position Details:
- Location: Aurora, Colorado (Denver Metro Area)
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Contract term: Immediate start through May 21, 2026, with a strong likelihood of renewal for the 2026/2027 school year.
- Caseloads and school assignments will vary.
