Job DescriptionCommercial Carpenter – Backing & Blocking (Kersey, CO)
Pay: $25–$32/hr | Full-Time | 40+ hrs/week | School Project
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join a well‑respected General Contractor on a school project in Kersey, CO. This is a great opportunity to continue building a long‑term career in commercial construction with a GC known for treating their people well and investing in their growth.
What You’ll Do
- Perform backing and blocking on a commercial school project
- Build and install temporary walls, safety railings, and other carpentry components
- Work primarily with wood (with occasional framing tasks)
- Follow site‑specific safety standards and GC requirements
- Support additional tasks throughout the project as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction/carpentry experience
- Solid experience with backing and blocking
- Must have basic carpentry tools
- Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week) with occasional overtime
- Reliability, safety awareness, and professionalism

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
