Sundial Beach Resort & Spa, located on tropical Sanibel Island, is seeking enthusiastic Bartender/ Server to join our fabulous team. Candidates must be hardworking, have a strong work-ethic, and be a responsible team player.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain a guest focus while performing duties.
- Welcome and greet guests.
- Complies with liquor pour standards as set by Food & Beverage Director
- Inform guests of any food and beverage specials
- Knowledgeable and able to answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant and resort functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system.
- Prepare and serve beverages for guests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignments.
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and beverage service.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system.
- Thank the guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Notify the manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.
- Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards, and procedures of the department.
