Position Summary:
The Email Outreach Specialist is responsible for setting up and maintaining domain infrastructure, inbox management, campaign execution, data sourcing, and performance optimization. This tactical and analytical role directly impacts the ability of the organization to identify qualified leads, maintain deliverability and accelerate revenue growth through cold outreach.
This is a mid-level, highly technical, and analytical role that excels at the intersection of systems engineering, lead intelligence, and growth operations. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and managing Evolv’s outbound infrastructure from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems Setup
- Set up and maintain outbound infrastructure, including domains, email inboxes, and deliverability tools.
- Administer Google Workspace/Outlook environments
- Execute warm-up and deliverability protocols (i.e. Instantly, Smartlead)
Data Sourcing & Lead Intelligence
- Source and improve contact data based on defined ICP
- Build segmented lead lists using tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo
- Validate and cleanse data to ensure high email deliverability and minimize bounce rates
- Use logic-based criteria to score leads for target, personalized outreach.
Campaign Execution & Performance Analysis
- Design, test, and optimize outreach sequences based on data-driven insights.
- Monitor and interpret email replies to assess recipient intent and engagement
- Analyze performance across A/B tests (subject lines, send times, CTAs)
- Leverage campaign analytics to optimize open rates, reply rates, and email deliverability
System Integration & Automation
- Route qualified responses into CRM (HubSpot, Close) with tagging/logic
- Automate workflows via Zapier or Make.com
- Ensure system integrity and maintain data accuracy across platforms
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in outbound operations, B2B lead gen, or data sourcing required
- Strong data intuition and analytical thinking
- Proficiency with tools such as:
- Instantly.ai, Smartlead, Apollo, Hunter, Snov.io
- Google Workspace admin or Microsoft 365
- HubSpot, Close, or similar CRMs
- Make.com, Zapier (workflow automation)
- Or similar
- Hands-on experience segmenting data and interpreting campaign metrics
- Bonus: SQL, Excel, or basic scripting knowledge for data wrangling
Requirements:
- 90% deliverability rate
- <3% bounce rate
- 2–5% positive reply rates (based on vertical)
- Qualified leads routed within 24 hours
- Scalable system handling 10,000+ weekly emails, per location with clean data flows
