Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license
  • Experience with school-based physical therapy or pediatric populations, preferably in an elementary setting

  • Organizational skills and adaptability to changing needs throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized physical therapy services for students with varying abilities, as determined by IEPs or student evaluations
  • Assess motor skills and develop targeted treatment plans to support student participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with educators, occupational therapists, and caregivers to implement appropriate accommodations or modifications
  • Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and participation
  • Help ensure compliance with state and district guidelines regarding physical therapy within schools

This unique part-time schedule allows you to maintain work-life balance and focus on your passion for student-centered care. Compensation for this contract role is between $90 and $110 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
