Job Title: Financial Analyst

Reports to: Director, FP&A

Location: Las Vegas, NV – in office 4 or 5 days a week

Summary:

The Pavilion Payments FP&A Analyst will have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management. This role will work closely with business leaders to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to business in the development and reporting of budgets, forecasts, investment and other related processes and initiatives.

  • Manage and monitor budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Perform variance analysis, explaining key drivers and trends in revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure proper liquidity planning and risk management
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, special projects, and strategic initiatives
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, scenarios, and investment opportunities
  • Partner with accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and alignment between actuals and forecasts
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Provide analytical support for regulatory filings

Prepare executive-level presentations and reports summarizing financial results, forecasts, and recommendations

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • NetSuite experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail
