School Psychologist
Columbus, Georgia | 2026–2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based contract position with a supportive school district in Columbus, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced School Psychologists to join a collaborative team of educators, administrators, and related service providers.

Position Overview
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services that support students’ academic success, social-emotional growth, and overall well-being. This role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and proactive support within a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
Interpret assessment data and develop clear, actionable recommendations
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Support the development and implementation of academic and behavioral interventions
Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice


Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Active or eligible Georgia School Psychologist certification/licensure
Prior school-based experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Ability to work onsite for the full school year
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
