Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for skilled Occupational Therapists with experience in school settings, located in Holton, KS. This position supports elementary-level students, providing therapeutic services that address their individual needs and promote their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students primarily in elementary grades
- Manage caseloads that may vary in size and needs
- Conduct Medicaid billing and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain required licensure and certifications including OT license and CPR
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid OT credentials
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience working as an OT in schools strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures in educational settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Approximate contract dates: August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027
- Expected hours: 35-40 hours per week
- Location: Holton, KS, with potential assignments in Topeka, KS
